Software removal failure
The computer this was attached to has been hard-wired into the network and the adapter is no longer needed.
Attempted removal today and got to the pop-up stating to remove the adapter from the computer. The Next link did nothing.
I tried reinstalling the software and reconnecting the adapter and starting again = same results. I can never get past this pop-up. It's still there after several minutes, and can only be stopped via Task Manager.

The non-psychics in your audience might not get much from that
non-description.

There's a more appropriate forum for such devices than this "DSL
Modems & Routers" forum:

Re: Software removal failure
Please allow me to apologize to the "non-psychotics" in my audience.
I thought my description was pretty concise. What, in your opinion, was lacking?
Or do you recommend I move on and post this in that link you provided?

"The computer" runs what? Some version of Windows? (I suppose that
"Task Manager" might have suggested that to an alert reader.) Does this
software have a version?
"Attempted removal [...]" How? What, exactly, did you do?

I'd guess that you might find more relevant information there,
perhaps even someone with a similar problem and/or solution. You could
try to contact a moderator to get this thread moved, but re-posting
could be simpler.

No need, and, in any case, I may not qualify as non-psychotic.
