Which modem/router to choose ?
I am a small UK hotel business (7 guest bedrooms)
Each of the guest bedrooms has a SMART TV, hardwired Cat5e cable to it from a Netgear Switch
Also PoE Netgear WAPs around the house
My ISP is BT, and the modem/router they provide has the DNS Server hard-coded
It also doesn't seem to be a particularly 'fast' router either
The main uses for our broadband, are :
Streaming films in the guest bedrooms to the SMART TVs
Guest use of WiFi throughout the hotel to their smart phones and tablets
WiFi printing
Internet surfing/email
Anyway, I'd like to replace the proprietary BT modem/router with a Netgear one, and then I am totally Netgear! 🙂
It should be fast, have VPN capabilities, preferrably a built-in firewall, be DSN Server configurable, preferrably wall mountable and obviously be capable of supporting all the above mentioned hardware
Any product recommendations please - and not to break the bank!
Thank you

Re: Which modem/router to choose ?
Hello Mikeystevey
I would say the D7800 or the D7000 would be the best bet for the things that you are wanting.
