Could some one please help me to safely connect my old Netgear router to my wirless network.
I use Sky broadband and the supplied router is pretty poor however, I have an old Netgear router which I wish to use as a network booster, the router works fine connected to a wired feed and does boost the wireless signal but the equipment had a factory re-set some while ago so the router has no security set up.
I wish to set up the security on the router in order to avoid any issues in the future, as I said earlier the router does exactly what I want it to do but has no security settings and I am unable to find a way of doing this.
