Wifi keeps dropping every day d7000v2 centurylink
I own a nighthawk D7000 V2 using it for Centurylink 40mbps as a modem and wireless router. My modem/router has to be reset every morning. The WiFi signal stops working on my devices. The lights on the modem are all on and solid but it’s not connected or active on my devices.
After reading the advice posted online I’ve factory reset and check my ISP to confirm any issues but after a day the connection needs to be restarted again.
Any advice would be great! Thank you!

What about wired connections? Do they die too?

Thanks for responding!
Yes, the ethernet cable plugged into the desktop loses connection also.
FYI (I have an additional router connected to the Nighthawk modem for the arlo camera routers.) Just in case this pertains to the issue. Thanks for your help!

I might well be relevant. Does it mean that you have an R7000 and an R8900 on the same network?
If so you run the risk that they will get confused about which one is managing the network.
The usual advice in those circumstances is to set one of the routers into access point mode. But that is just a guess. We don't know what you have connected to what.
I don't understand why you need two routers to access the Arlo base station. It isn't really a router so much as an access point.
So explain the layout and you might get better replies.

Re: Wifi keeps dropping every day d7000v2 centurylink
The Nighthawk d7000v2 is an AC1900 dual band modem and router and the other router is a Linksys. You're correct, the linksys is just an access point that my friend had me set up. I attached a photo of my current set up. Do you think i should just keep to the Nighthawk for the modem and router? Thank you!

Re: Wifi keeps dropping every day d7000v2 centurylink
Yes, but what is the Linksys? You say it is just an "access point", but we don't know if it is properly configured. If it retains any of its router features, that could open the way to conflicts.
If the Linksys this "additional router connected to the Nighthawk modem"? You call it a router, which is worrying. Routers and access points are two different things. You can turn many routers into access points, but you need to know how to do it.
Can you also tell us which if these "routers" is providing the wifi that stops working? If it os the Netgear modem/router what is the Linksys doing beyond working as a switch that connects the two Arlo base stations? (These aren't routers by the way.)
I still don't see why you need an extra box of any sort for Arlo stuff. And why two Arlo base stations? Do you have a house full of cameras that need that many base stations?
