|i am trying to setup my netgear DGN2200v4 so that i can stream my cctv cameras from my phone across the internet. i have used this router before and have had no issues what so ever.
in this instance i haven't even managed to obtain an ethernet connection between the router and the dvr (qvis discovery range). I have checked all the settings, ip address is on the correct subnet it has the correcct deafualt gate way etc. I have checked the ethernet cable swapped the ethernet cable and i have even tried setting it to dchp and still the dvr doesnt want to connect to the router.
i also tried hooking up an old virgin superhub2 to the dvr and it worked straight away.
i am totally baffled here can any one help ?
