about what your (unspecified) "mydlink router" is, what it was doing
before, or how it's configured now. And a Netgear forum is probably not
the best place to ask about it.

I know nothing, but I'd guess that your (unspecified) "mydlink
router" can have its settings reset to their default values, and that
D-Link (dlink.com) provides some documentation on it which might explain
how to configure it.
