Hi, i've set up the d6400 as ap after i've had a lot of problems with it as dsl router.
It works correctly now but it blocks every remote connection.
I've set up on my base router(tp-link firmware upgraded to last version) some port forwarding, and if i put some devices (NAS, camera) after the netgear, it won't work. If i put them directly connected to router then they will work.
On d6400 there are very few options when setting it as an ap, so I don't really know what to do...
Thanks

I'm really stupid, sorry.
I didn't change the gateway on the cameras, as they get static ip...
Sorry for your time!
Many thanks!! 🙂

Did you enable AP Mode under ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless AP?

And found the page for forwarding, but either allowing or forwarding port doesn't work...

That's odd. In AP mode, its firewall should be disabled so nothing should be blocked.

Why are you forwarding port 80 to the Netgear?

Ok. You should set up your main router to forward those ports directly to the IP address of the camera. Don't forward it to the Netgear. As far as port forwarding is concerned, the Netgear should be transparent when it is in AP mode.

Can you ping the IP camera from a computer connected to the main router?

Glad you found the problem. No eBay, today. 🙂
