dgnd3700 2.4 and 5.0 GHz lights not flashing

Hi just bought and set up my new dgnd3700 router was not too hard to set-up using the set up wizard and got connected fairly quickly.

I am connected to one computer via Ethernet cable.
I have all family,s laptops,phones and ipad connected through wireless and all working well and decent speeds. My question is the 2.4 and 5.0 GHZ lights on the front panel never flash even if i am streaming a movie from one pc to another.
So far everything is working like it should and i have the latest firmware only noticed that the unit is getting hot but no issues as of yet

It's the "normal" behaviour: the wi-fi leds don't blink...

The flashing LEDs are very useful, too bad! The second bad thing of this router is that there is not the PPOE relay.

This has been raised with Netgear's tech support. If you have an open ticket, I would suggest that you raise it as well.
