Re: firmware updates

What response are you getting?

What FW is currently loaded?

Be sure to unpack the .zip file before uploading the actual FW.img file seen.

Try MS Edge or Firefox browsers.

Factory reset the router then setup from scratch then try to update manually:

Re: firmware updates

It simply said it's the wrong file or it's corrupted or not the right type of file ? I've download it and un zipped it many times FW 1.0.1.68 is as high as it will.let me update too

Re: firmware updates

forcing a firmware that isn't for that version of router will cause issues (if you can even get it to install).

Make sure you're installing the one for your version.

Re: firmware updates

I wasn't able to load any of the updates when I tried to do so . So I left it as it was using the auto updates feature. But I still couldn't get it to stop crashing.

couldn't get what to stop crashing ?
the auto-update?

The router? If the router, what is all going on? Details help more than "crashing"

Re: firmware updates

Sorry the internet just drops out, it all boots up fine then randomly every 30mins or so the internet wifi signal drops out and the unit disconnects I have to go back into the settings and reboot it other times it just starts working again I've spend the last to days trying just trying to get it to stay connected continuously. But my level of tech savvy knowledge doesn't go very deep . Apologise if my explanations are a bit vague .

Re: firmware updates

does everything drop? Just wireless devices? Or wired too?
Is the unit rebooting? (light shut off and it boots backup)

do device say, connected, no internet? Does the wifi itself stop broadcasting?

Re: firmware updates

Both wifi and wired drops out but not always together it seems like its one or the other ever time the unit does reboot it self. It say it not connect when the wired part goes down but the wifi is still going ?? Maybe I should attach some pictures
