lost 5GHZ on D7000 but 2.4ghz if ok
Hi - I hope that someone can help with the following - I've lost any form of internet or network access on my 5Ghz wireless connection - 2.4GHZ works perfectly but no device with work with the 5GHZ. I've checked the setting and they match the 2.4ghz so everything should be ok - onthing that I have noticed is that the settings below only shows the 2.4ghz and no the 5ghz connection - can anyone suggest a fix for this?

Probably not here.
You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but there is not much in common between these things and your DSL modem router, so you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
DSL Modems & Routers
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

"no device" out of which subset of all the devices in the world?
Radio-status LED indicators?

Even the channels? Have you tried selecting a different 5GHz
channel?

Not I, with any confidence. If the relevant ADVANCED > Advanced
Wireless Setup > Wireless Setings stuff (Enable Wireless Router Radio,
Turn off wireless signal by schedule) for 5GHz looks right, then I'd try
the usual settings reset and manual reconfiguration.
If the D7000 refuses to admit that the 5GHz radio has been disabled,
and it's configured to use a locally-legal channel, but multiple devices
can't detect its signal, then I'd suspect the radio hardware.
