netgear D7000 router & VPN session

Hi.

I have a D7000 router upgraded to the latest firmware, V1.0.1.64_1.0.1. I have selected VPN services and also selected that I have a static IP address for the router.

I have then downloded the windows files and copied them over to the Laptop I wish to use to connect on  VPN to the router.

I have also downloaded the Openvpn software for my Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

I have to the best of my ability following the instructions from OpenVPN about creating the certificate the OpenVPN software willuse to connect with, after my trials I am now stuck at a point where I have the following problem...

MANAGEMENT: TCP Socket listening on [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:25340

Can anyone help me with configuring this so I can use the VPN connection to connect to the router for a single client only, it is a one off.

I cn see anywhere in the client config where it is getting the public IP address the router has unless it asks for it when it tries to connect once the certificate has been accepted.

I have also attached the client config if that helps...

Many Thanks

Steve

Has anyone else seen the same issue and what was the fix for the problem between OpenVPN and the Netgear Routers VPN files and certificates.

Re: netgear D7000 router & VPN session

Hi, I have the same issue but I don't know how to fix it...

Apparently certificates shall be updated so FW shall be revised. Any beta version on this?
