If you want to preserve your LAN-related settings, then you might go
to ADVANCED > Setup > WAN Setup : WAN Preference, and ensure that it'll
notice the Ethernet WAN connection, and ADVANCED > Setup > Internet
Setup, and clear out any DSL-specific settings ("Does your Internet
connection require a login?", and so on).
If that doesn't work well, then you might do a settings reset, and
start from scratch, as if with a new router.

for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Factory Setings" and
"Set Up the Modem Router for Cable or Fiber Service".
