5G Completely Gone From Router
So just the other day all of my electronics connected to 5G were dropped from the internet at the same time. Long story short the 5G wifi was no longer on my wifi list and after checking further, the light on the router was out. Went in to router settings online and 5G is no longer there just the standard 2.4GHZ. What could have possibly caused this and how can i get my 5G back? The photo below is the snapshot of my wireless settings with only 2.4 showing.

Re: 5G Completely Gone From Router
You're right. You only took a snip of the 2.4ghz section. Nothing else. Doesn't tell us a whold lot.
Did you try a simple factory reset and reinstall?
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on. Then reinstall it.

Re: 5G Completely Gone From Router
My intention of the snippet was to show that the 2.4 ghz section is the only thing under wireless. There is no 5ghz.
I did a factory reset twice.
What exactly is a reinstall?
I’ve only gone as far as the reset. My apologies as I am not experienced with this.

And, if the picture had extended a little lower, then its viewers
might have been able to tell "not shown here" from "not present".

He usually means "reconfigure" when he says "reinstall" (and
apparently isn't bothered by this kind of recurring confusion), but if
there's no 5GHz stuff to configure, ...

You might try reloading the firmware manually. (And resetting and
reconfiguring.)
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads. (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".) Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want. Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions. (In the User Manual, look for "firmware", and,
especially, for a topic like "Manually Upload Firmware to the Router".)
When that fails because of a deficient User Manual, try:
But, it's also possible that the 5GHz radio module has failed, and
the management web site isn't showing you any 5GHz stuff because the
router's not finding any itself.

--->I'd love for you walk the user through "reloading" the firmware manually on a modem/router combo device that the user put as their device. Thanks for recommending that and the assistant.

Good point.

Given that limitation, you might try asking your ISP if they'll
reprovision the thing.

You're welcome. I'll bite. Who's "the assistant"?
