What modem/gateway is the router connected to?
Is it working?
what firmware version did you install?

Re: AC1750, Model R6400v2
Have you checked to see if its at that gateway address?
Pull up a command prompt in windows and type ipconfig
That'll tell you what the gateway address is.

Re: AC1750, Model R6400v2
so you're caught in a catch-22.
The next thing I'd recommend would be a factory reset and reinstall. But if it does the same behavior, you wouldn't be able to access it to reinstall it. You'd have to try to recover it using the tftp method of forcing firmware to it.

Re: AC1750, Model R6400v2
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9DLrLQrpaw
and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

Re: AC1750, Model R6400v2
so again, catch-22. Factory reset and risk it not working. Or order a usb--->ethernet adapter and wait to get it then try the reset. If it doen't work and you need the tftp method, then you have it. If you don't you can return it (or hold it in case you need it).
