Accessing ReadySHARE from Linux
I recently upgraded to WNDR3800. This question is about ReadySHARE.
On Windows machines, I can access ReadySHARE by mounting it as a network drive. The drive point is :\\readyshare\USB_storage. This works fine.
However, I failed to access the USB drive from a Linux machine on the network. This linux machine sees all the Windows machines on my LAN and it shares files with the Windows machines (through Samba.) But it does not see ReadySHARE. I tried to mount ReadySHARE as a Samba share, but it failed. The Linux SW also failed to detect it automatically.
Any suggestions as to how I can mount it on my Linux machine?
Thank you for your help.:)

Re: Accessing ReadySHARE from Linux
Have you tried opening smb://wndr3800.local/ in your file manager?
Let me know if this works.

On my recently upgraded WNDR3700v2 (Router Firmware Version V1.0.0.36), I tried:
smb://wndr3700.local/
And that gave a popup error:
Failed to retrieve share list from server
But this did seem to work:
smb://readyshare/usb_storage/
This is on a freshly purchased and attached Expansion Desktop STBV1000100 1TB USB drive (my understanding is that it is formatted as NTFS from the factory).
