C6300-can't access Router Settings, can't connect to canon mg7720 pixma printer

Two problems, don't know if they are related.

1.  Cannot log into Router settings, either through Netgear Genie, or by entering router IP number directly into internet address field. (Can't remember the correct name for it.)  I reset modem so I could use default user and password, but still does not work. It just times out.  This is a long standing issue.

2.  I no longer can get my Canon Pixma MG7720 and modem router to connect wirelessly.  It used to connect, but now it does not.  Have tried all suggestions form Canon Community to no avail.  Wondering if it the the modem router causing the problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions to solve my problems?

C6300 or C6300v2?  Look at the product label.

Just to be perfectly clear, you're using some web browser or other,
running on some computer or other, connected to the C6300[vX] in some
way or other, and specifying some "router IP number" or other, and
you're getting some error message or other?

"Cannot" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

Did it ever work?  That's a pretty fundamental functionality.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for the LED
descriptions and "Troubleshoot".  Further reading might not hurt,
either.

Regarding "no longer can", see "Cannot", above.

Think, for a moment, about how little useful information that
non-description conveys to the non-psychics in your audience.

Does any device other than that printer do any better?

I'd need a better problem description before I'd start guessing.
