Can WNR1000v4 be set up to run in Access Point mode?
When I go to the Genie Advanced page the Access Point option is not shown (as it is on some of the how-to pages I'ver seen).
Thanks!

Any wireless router can be converted to an Access Point. Follow these general directions.

Re: Can WNR1000v4 be set up to run as an Access Point?
Thanks Netwrks. Got it set up
But just wondering, isn't this something I should be able to do using Netgear Genie? In at least one place in Netgear Support it showed a screenshot of Genie with an Access Point option. But when I used Genie, I couldn't find it. Wondering why...

Looks like the options in the firmware changes from time, to time. Hard to predict in what version it will show up in, if it ever does again. Enjoy!
