Can no longer pause internet R6250

Ive had my R6250 for a while now, never any issues and loved the Genie App. Recently when attempting to access the Genie app I was prompted to update to the new Nighthawk App...and by “prompted” I mean I wasnt given an option not to.
Upon updating to the new App I can no longer pause internet on any connected device. Is there a way to fix this with the NH App or possibly revert back to the Genie App?
Router Firmware version is : V1.0.4_10.1.30
Model: R6250|Smart WiFi Router (AC1600)
