Can the router be brought back to OEM firmware after DD WRT
I would like to try DD WRT on my r6250, but do hope the netgear firmware will eventually catch my wifi drop problem. Can I switch back to netgear FW after installing DD WRT? If DD WRT does not fix my issue, I would like to switch back.
Thanks - Jim A

All 3rd party has a means to get back to EOM. BUT.. make sure you have done your home work before you pull the trigger.

Re: Can the router be brought back to OEM firmware after DD WRT
I've been able to switch back and forth between Netgear Firmware and DD-WRT firmware these last few days as I'm attempting to get my Netgear router to be a wireless bridge. Everything seems to work fine doing so. I first upgrated to the latest Netgear firmware, and backed up my settings. Then I flashed it (essentially the same process as upgrading the firmware) with the DD-WRT firmware. The DD-WRT interface has a similar "Upgrade Firmware" functionality that I used to flash it back to Netgear firmware by installing the latest R6200v2 firmware, then restoring my backup settings.
