Can you restore configs from an old NG Router to your new Netgear Router ?
So I bought a Netgear AC1900 Router and it broke 3 years later. So with all the configs I have done over those 3 years if I bought a new Netgear router is it possible to restore that backup or config file to the newly purchased router or will it break the new router? And also note, I have not purchased a new router yet, but looking to get the AX4300 potentially.
Thanks much in advance... 🙂

"AC1900" is a speed, not a model number. Look for "Model" on the
product label.

Sure, _if_ the "a new Netgear router" is the same model. Otherwise,
no.

You won't break anything, but a different model router will
reject/ignore the (incompatible) data.

Appreciate the response bud. Yeah def not buying the same router. Since mine went SPLAY, might as well get the newest, and greatest. Only issue with that is having to do aaaallll those configs over again, ugghh !! Again, thanks for the response. Be safe bud.
