Hi,
I have Netgear R6220 AC1200 WiFi router.
I want to configure it as access point or repeater. But my main point is, I want to do it without connecting to primary router with LAN cable through ethernet port.
I want to do it wirelessly.
Tried so many articles and posts and youtube videos but couldn't get clear answer from anywhere.
Can anyone please help me for the same?

In other words, you want it to be a repeater.
Access Point = Wired
You need to look for information on how to configure your device for WDS, Wireless Distribution System. It looks like your R6220 does not support WDS.
There is a manual for the R6220 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>> R6220 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
An alternative approach would be to use the thing as an access point, with a powerline ethernet connection between the router and the R6220.
