Connect 4 Remote Computers using WAC104

I want to connect four remote computers to the WAC104 by ethernet cable and then connect the WAC104 to an existing WiFi network. I want the four remote commputers to be able to connect to other computers on the WiFi network.  I've got the WAC104 set up but it is not connected to my WiFi network  When I check available connections the WAC104 shows up by the default names NETGEAR_11N and NETGEAR_11AC.  My WiFi network also appears. Another minor problem is that the time and  date shown in settings is not correct. The date is shown as 31 Decmeber 1969.

   Ok.

I don't know what that means to you.  Are you working from intuition,
or are you following some set of instructions or other, or what?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get some.  Read.

Did you intend to make a wireless connection between the WAC104 and
some existing (unspecified) wireless router?  Or did you want to use the
WAC104 as a wireless access point?  Or what?

> [...] I've got the WAC104 set up [...]

   _How_, exactly?

> [...] but it is not connected to my WiFi network [...]

I don't know what that means to you.  To what _is_ the WAC104
connected, how?

> [...] When I check available connections [...]

Are you looking at the available SSIDs in the list on some wireless
device or other, or what?

> [...] My WiFi network also appears. [...]

Where "My WiFi network" means what, exactly?  An SSID related to some
router or other?

> [...] Another minor problem is that the time and date shown in

I'd guess that the WAC104 was hoping to talk to some NTP server in
the outside world, and it can't.

Re: Connect 4 Remote Computers using WAC104

If your intent was to be helpful, you failed.

If your intent was to be abusive, you succeeded.

In any event, there is no point in entering into a point, counter point.  Let's just say that the assistance that I requested has not been provided.  Let's just end this thread here.

It will take some time to hear again however don't worry, you could contact them thru your aid web page to see what the scenario is here. I've had current contact with L2 and observed them to be high-quality and very expertise and helpful.
