D6220 Cannot connect after fibre upgrade (NZ)

       You may need only a router, but a D6220 should be able to act as only
    a router.  If your problem is not configuring your D6220 properly as a
    router, then you might have similar problems configuring any other
    router as a router, too.

       Does your ISP provide any instructions on how to attach/configure a
    router to work with their ONT interface?  Do you have any reason to
    believe that "ISP logon details" are needed with this (non-DSL?)
    connection?  Have you done a settings reset on the D6220, and let it try
    to puzzle out its new environment?
