Which version? Look for "Model" on the product label?

And you're not?

If you keep your existing (slow DSL?) service, then what, exactly, do
you expect a new modem+router to do for you?

Nothing is cheaper than nothing.
If you are using DSL service, then I wouldn't recommend any newer
Netgear Dxxxx model. Too many firmware bugs.

Re: DGN2200 Replacement
sorry, my fault i guess. should have stipulated in the original post that i didn't want useless replies from assholes who think they're the wittiest thing to grace the internet.
that cleared up, replies from anyone else would be appreciated. ta.

I think that I see what you mean. When the competition is someone
whose entire list of requirements is "newer than a DGN2200 (some version
or other)", _and_, apparently, expects specific advice, then, when it
comes to pure hilarity, such feeble attempts as mine to elicit some
useful information are bound to fall short.
I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Re: DGN2200 Replacement
because there's a whole range of netgear stuff and i want suggestions about any of them. Sorry it's so hard for you to work out. Netgear must be real pleased to have you here to welcome customers looking for help and advice.
