DHCP problem (on my R6300v2 Router)

Does Netgear allow DHCP configuration? I am assigning dhcp addrs for several devices (echo, tivo, cameras... ) and they never pick up the assigned addresses. (for months!) I am hoping that I can either 1. Release the current addr for those devices or 2. change the dhcp lease timer. I've read many posts on this site that said Netgear doesn't allow this, but those posts were years old. Has this changed in the last several years? Thanks in advance!

How, exactly? Anything other than ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup :
Address Reservation ?
> [...] they never pick up the assigned addresses.
Have you restarted all the devices (including the router)?
> [...] I am hoping that I can either [...]
Beyond address reservation, I've seen no evidence that a user can
easily control the DHCP server in Netgear consumer-grade routers.
