Re: Does Dynamic DNS work?
As a test of the error messages, if I put in a bogus host name, I get an error saying that the hostname is not valid. That error, I expect.
The issue is that when I put in the correct host name/user/passwd, I get the error that my username and password is not correct, even though that exact same hostname/username/password combination works when I enter it all directly on the login page at the dyndns website.

Re: Does Dynamic DNS work?
Hi Guys,
I have a D6200 and was having the same problem. I checked details over and over and even copied and pasted the password to make sure it was correct and it was still failing with "Authentication failed. User name or password is not correct."
FIXED
So, I was on the chat with netgear support and getting nowhere fast, and wjile chatting I tried the "Updater Client Key" instead of the password (DYNDNS.org account settings page) and this worked. finally Smiley Happy
https://account.dyn.com/profile/ (this is where you can find/generate the key)
Here is the info about the "Client Updater Key" from the website:
An updater client key can be used to authenticate an updater client with Dyn in place of a password. This provides additional security as the key cannot be used to manage your account on Dyn.com. This can be used in the official client from the 'Resources' section of the Dyn website, or in a hardware based client such as in many routers with DDNS support
