EX6110 AC1200 Wifi extender
I have setup my Netgear EX6110 - AC1200 Dual Band wifi extender but it appears when I set it up I didn't make the network private or secured.
I am trying to re-setup the extender but whenever I try logging into mywifiext(dot)net It says I am not connected to my extenders wifi network. Not sure why this is as it is the same network.
Any work arounds as I want to make my extender network secure

Isn't that something you need to set up on your anonymous router?
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
WiFi Range Extenders & Nighthawk Mesh - NETGEAR Communities
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
