GS305 Ethernet Switch - Ethernet not detected by PC (Windows 10)
GS305 switch connected to modem, I have a wireless router and my PC plugged into the switch.
The router is connected to the switch and functions normally, every wireless device connects to the internet fine and works great including my PC.
my PC is connected to the switch via ethernet, but the connection doesn't work as it's an "unidentified network" and has no internet. Why is this the case and how can I fix it?

Probably unwise. What, exactly is your (unspecified) "modem"?
Maker? Model number? Is it a simple modem, or a modem+router, or what?
If it's really a modem, then what you want is:
modem --- router --- switch
