Help ... No USB Storage

I've got a MacBook pro OS X 10.6.8. I've installed my Netgear Wndr Mac v2 as the main router. I baught a 3To SeaGate GoFlex Mass Storage I hooked up to USB 3.0 plug of the router.
Unfortunately, the router seems to ignore the GoFlex presence...Its welcoming display indicates "No USB Storage". I would like to Use Time Machine, but as long as the router can't see the disk, my MacBook won't be able to detect it...
I don't know what to do... Help !!

3TB is not supported on readyshare USB ports

Thanks for your answer... I found out I was not alone to have met this problem and not specifically with 3 To Storage :
