How can you reduce wireless router signal strength? If so, what routers allow you to reduce wifi signal strength? How?

Some routers have a radio transmit power setting. The R7000 has such as a setting. Other Netgear models may also have it.
Another option is to load 3rd party firmware, such as DD-WRT, Tomato and others. They should all have radio power settings. Not all routers support 3rd party firmware. Check the respective firmware websites for details about supported models.
