Hi,
I have a R6300v2 router and due to a recent hard drive failure, need to reinstall Netgear Genie on my new hard drive. Unfortunately, every time I click download on the version for Windows, the page times out and nothing happens. Since I'm out of warrantee, it appears Netgear customer cupport won't help me figure this out, so I'm really hoping that someone in the community can help figure out what is going on and how I can download the Genie again.
Thank you,
Melyssa

I just tried it with my pc.
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/Genie.aspx#download
no issues downloading it.
Try a different web browser.
also, you don't have the use the genie to access the router. You can log into it using the browser.

Re: How install Netgear Genie for R6300v2 router?
Thank you very much for your help. It worked this time and I think the issue was that my computer wasn't giving me a message that it was a rar file and needed to be unpacked. Thanks again. 🙂
