IPv6 6RD support for WNDR3700v2

Are there plans to provide IPv6 6RD support on the 3700v2? Several ISPs are now providing 6RD services, but my router, running v1.0.0.12 does not have an option for 6RD.

I purchased this router because it was one of the few with IPv6 support, but now it does not seem to support what the ISPs are providing.

Not sure you'll see anything soon from the official firmware , but I know for a fact that OpenWRT supports it. (I have 2 x 3700's - 1 running the Netgear firmware, and 1 running OpenWRT)

Same question for 3700V1. No support for IPv6 6RD. I know that the latest Linksys/Cisco offerings (EA series) are supporting it.

Most likely NOT... You'd have to buy one of their newer router, probably. Use 3rd party firmware in the meantime.

One of their latest products, the wndr4500 does not seems to support ipv6 6rd either. Hey Netgear there is a need for this feature in your product line. Many ISPs are going this way.

Perhaps, you might have to get/upgrade to one of their 801.11ac line of routers to get "additional" firmware/openwrt features, such as "better" ipv6 support. They are a hardware company after all... Smiley Tongue
