Re: KRACK WNR612v2

Hi a32a,

Only routers with bridge mode are affected by vulnerability.

It is more important to do something about your wifi clients, tablets, mobile phones and other devices that connect to your wifi.

Re: KRACK WNR612v2

So, do I need to patch my gadgets? If they have this vulnerabiliti?

Re: KRACK WNR612v2

If possible, and if the gadget makers have done something about it.

People have spent a lot of time shouting at router makers about this issue, but they have been surprisingly quiet about Apple, Google, Samsung and the people who make most of these vulnerable wifi clients.

This security issue is pretty arcane and requires people to do all sorts of things from a piece of kit close to you. It isn't something that the Russians can do from Moscow. But if you are of a paranoid nature you might like to check with the gadget makers' sites for fixes.
