will my router model WNR2000 N300 support a VPN. If so how do I do it?

The WNR2000 supports VPN passthrough.
If you have the VPN client behind the router, you will need Port Forwarding feature.
By the way, what kind of VPN you will be running (PPTP, L2TP, IPsec)? The port numbers depends on the VPN client that you will be using.
