Netgear D6300 compatible with HFC /nbn Connection?

Hi Guys i recently sign up with a NBN provider and i currently use the Netgear D6300 wifi router which is NBN ready. My question is if i can use it for HFC type of NBN connection. My provider gave me a link with Moder/routers that do the work, and also tried to sale me one of their owns but i believe i dont need if mine is NBN ready as its written on  the box and in the manual ,But just to make sure and avoid any delays and issues with the technicians/provider i would appreciate it if you could clarify if this modem is compatible with this type of connection.....
Thank you in advance
Raf

My quick Web search suggested that "HFC" = "Hybrid Fibre Coaxial".
Does your D6300 have a coaxial cable connector?  A D6300 is a
modem+router.  As a router, you should be able to use it. As a modem --
a DSL modem -- it would be useless for a cable-TV-type coaxial
connection.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Cable Your D6300
WiFi DSL Modem Router".  Look at the confusing diagram, which shows both
a DSL/phone connection and a "Cable Fiber Modem" connection.  For a
cable-TV-type coaxial connection, you'd need a cable-TV-type modem, not
a DSL modem like the one in a D6300.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't see that link, or the devices
which might be described there.

Not a very detailed description of anything there, either.

If "NBN" meant exactly one thing everywhere, then that argument might
have some value.  And if a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his ass
a-hopping.
