Netgear N900 not maxing out at 450mbs in wireless setting
The box states that the max is 900mbs, but I see the mode in wireless setting only maxes out at 450mbs. calMy internet speed at my main modem is 600mbs and I am using a CAT5E cable from my modem to the router. Is this correct? Is there another setting I need to change?

I wished it worked that way.
wireless "ratings" are way over rated and its an industry wide issue.
I'd recommend reading this article to find out why.

That router is also a bit behind on technology. This review of the WNDR4500 has good info on how it performs while testing.
