Hi,
I've some problems with my router (netgear 6400). I did some changes on the firmware and now I not able anymore to flash a new one. Admin interface is not working and bftpd is not running. Does anyone know where the uploaded/pushed firmware is located before the reboot?
I've root access to the device and I've tried to start the bftpd service but I get an error:
# bftpd bftpd: segment_id:32769 shared memory reattached at address 0x40008000 421 Unable to open configuration file.
Now I'm looking for the location of the firmware or the update script/binary to trigger the upgrade. Maybe some has another option to flash a new firmware?
Info: I can't write into /etc /bin ... it r/o and a squashfs, remounting was not possible.
Thank you in advance.
Greets,
steve
