Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

Yes, this also took care of my issue in the Attached Devices menu where it used to show multiple entries with different IP addresses for the same exact devices with the same exact MAC address. I thought someone was on my network spoofing their MAC address to gain access to the router, but it turns out it was just bad firmware. It even showed an iPhone connected trough an ethernet connection. That's some trippy stuff, I'm glad this firmware update fixed all the issues.

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

On my desktop computer, its connected to the router via a LAN cable. In order for the desktop genie app to show the connected devices, it has to be connected to the wireless network as well. This doesn't seem right. Any suggestions?

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

I didn't know there is a "desktop" version of the genie app. Can you link me to it? I'd like to check it out myself. I will post back how it works with the latest firmware.

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

Here is the link to all the apps. Just click on the one for PC or Mac.

http://cl.netgear.com/landing/genie/default.aspx

For mine to work, I have to be connected via WiFi, which then shows both my lan and wifi connections.

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

Is Netgear going to ever fix this issue with the Network Map not working on the iPhone Genie App?

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

@uptownvideo What's the version of your Genie App? Also, what's the model number of your router?

The Network Map shows accurately on my app.

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

I have the same version.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

After uninstalling, restart the iPhone and reinstall it.

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

I did try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Do you have the same router, the C6300?

Re: Network Map Issue on Mobile Device

I'm using a different router.

By the way, what's the firmware version of your C6300?

Who's your ISP?

For verification, here's a list of updated firmware for different ISP's.

Will replicate this from our end and let you know the result.
