Hi, I got this new router and I want to replace my old one. I connected the cables I was using for my old router, and connected to this new one(this includes 1 white ethernet cable from the wall to port4, another yellow ethernet cable going to powerline adapter for ethernet extension to port 1, another yellow ethernet cable for ont broadband, and coax. But only the port connected to the powerline adapter was blinking).
Since this router has only two ethernet ports, and I need the powerline extension, I tried both ethernet cables but neither gave me internet connection.
The wifi led got lit, and I could connect to it's wifi but it didn't have internet access. The downstream led was blinking. Also the internet led never turned on once. What should I do?

I doubt that it's suitable. As I understand it, the co-ax connector on an 5268AC is used to connect to some old-style client devices. The co-ax connector on a C6250 is used to connect to the (cable-TV) ISP. Not even similar.
Also, because you're not using the "DSL Broadband" port, the cable to the "ONT Broadband" port (from your "the wall" I'd guess?) must be your connection to your ISP, and a C6250 has no Ethernet WAN/Internet port, making it useless as a replacement for a 5268AC.
Nice try, but you seem to be in a square-peg/round-hole situation. You want a friend with a plain-old router (with an Ethernet WAN/Internet port), not a cable modem+router (with a co-ax WAN/Internet port).
Sorry here's a picture of the old router. It's an att uverse 5628ac. The wifi and ethernet would randomly disconnect, and I got a 2 month used router from someone I know, so I'm trying to switch to that one.

Thanks for your help. So since the internet is coming through the ethernet cable, not the coax cable, I need a router that uses an ethernet port for internet connection. Did I understand it right?
There could still be some fine-print requirements (about which I know nothing) involving use of a user-supplied router with your ATT U-verse service, but a cable modem+router has no chance.
