My wifi was working fine until last night. I noticed my android phone wouldn't connect but figured it was my phone...
Today, my husband's phone and television will not connect.
My pc is connected to (cable) internet through my router by an ethernet cable from the modem and there is no problem.
When trying to connect phone or tv to wifi, I receive a password error... but have not changed the password in about a month.
I have disconnected all cables, and disconnected all power packs from power source and turned off pc.
I reconnected to internet by first connecting modem and power, router and power and then by turning pc on.
Model WNDR3400V2
No luck. Any suggestions?

try to factory reset the device, just saying.
Then delete the wifi phones connection.
And finally reconfigure your network.

Did you pushed the wifi on/off switch that kill wifi?
If not try factory reset and reconfigure!

Re: No Wifi, Netgear N600
No, the wifi on/off switch was not pushed initially.
I was trying to avoid factory reset and reconfiguring, the troubleshooting above is the exent of my knowledge with pcs and hardware! Reconfiguring is pushing it!

Re: No Wifi, Netgear N600
Go into the web interface and look at the wifi settings to ensure that they haven't turned themselves off:
WNDR3400v2 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
Tell your wifi clients to forget the home wifi network and see if you can reconnect.
An easy way to look at what is happening is to use the Netgear standalone genie application. You can get that from the same link.
The Network Map will show what is connected.
The Router Settings will let you look at the Wireless Settings.

Re: No Wifi, Netgear N600
Yes, we tried forgetting the network... turning off devices and turning them on and reconnecting...
I looked at the connected devices through genie and it shows the pc is connected...it gives a mac address, which I am assuming is one of our cell phones... Today, my phone says authentification error...when failing to connect to the network..

Re: No Wifi, Netgear N600
Update: I have not factory reset just yet..
However, I changed the security setting to NONE from WPA2-PSK [AES] and my phone picked up the wifi without a problem...

If it connected, try putting security back on the router with a password.
