No internet on WNR2000

hello all,

I have lost internet on my WNR2000 (1.2.3.7 firmware). I'm using Time Warner Cable Roadrunner. I'm also running Windows 7. If I bypass the router I have internet. Any ideas? Please help!!

Re: No internet on WNR2000

1. turn off the cable modem and unplug ethernet cable
2. wait for few min (20min)
3. turn on the cable modem only and do NOT plug any ethernet cable
4. wait until all the light up on cable modem
5. ONLY after all the light is up. hook up a router behind the cable modem
6. you should able to get public IP from the ISP and it will show up in the router status when you login the router.

** remove the BATTERY from the cable modem if built-in and follow from #1~

Re: No internet on WNR2000

If you are getting ip as 0.0.0.0
try these steps

just connect router and pc and
power onn the router and and reset it first, power off and on , wait for some time
try to login on to router page, and reconfigure it
check the ip also as what it is getting.

else

start
win+r
cmd
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew
power off router
power on the router
connect modem
and try
you will get ip

thanks
