I can't see your cable or where it goes. If it connects the right
things, then it should work. If a short cable works, then a longer
cable (up to 100m) should work.

Not a model number. Look for "Model" on the product label.

Normally, that's a modem+router. If you want to use it with a
separate router, then you should configure it as a modem-only (sometimes
called "bridge mode").

Define "directly".
You need to connect the WAN/Internet port on the router to an (the?)
Ethernet port on your (unspecified) modem. You should have no other
Ethernet connections to the modem. Any suitable cable up to 100m should
work.
