Re: Port Conflict With other Service

I get the same problem with Dawn of War.

I am trying to add my Dawn of war to IP 192.168.1.3 however whenever I fill in the information and press apply I get the same message.

I am trying to forward port 6112

Whats going on?

Re: Port Conflict With other Service

Anyone ever fix this? I have reset my router. I even pulled out my old Belkin router and used it for a week with my NETGEAR router unplugged. Still, after a "hard" reset and everything, it still seems to be "hiding" these ports that have previously been forwarded but no longer allows me to see them, let alone remove the setting.

I really need to forward some ports to another IP. My problem is that I had one PC hooked up that had like 5 ports forwarded to it, but now I want to have 2 of them going to another PC but it doesn't work unless I hook up my other router to it and set it up as a switch, but that's extremely cumbersome and annoying.

Please help! I have a WGR614v7 using Firmware ver: V2.0.23_1.0.23NA

Re: Port Conflict With other Service

try disabling the UPnP before adding more ports. enable it after you've added the ports..hope this helps..btw you'll have to assign different service names for services you want to add back..i think its an "issue" with the router firmware...

Re: Port Conflict With other Service

adding a new service with a different name is what fixed it for me on my wndr3700

and i also turned off upnp first as well, not sure if that helped.
