R4500 - seems to be corrupted Firmware

This page no longer exists. I have an R4500 with, what seems to be, (blinking power light) corrupted firmware. Can any one offer step by step instructions? NOTE----- I also operate exclsuively from a tablet without an internal or external CD-ROM drive. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

Re: R4500 - seems to be corrupted Firmware

It’s highly unlikely given the symptoms that you describe that the router WiFi is functional, is it? If not then to attempt to recover the router you will need to use an Ethernet cable to a computer.

You could then try a TFTP recovery e.g. https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Routers-802-11b-g-n-Legacy/DG834Gv5-how-to-debrick-recover-fro...
