R6200 Change DNS rapidly by command line or batch file?
Greetings,
I have a R6200 that I am quite impressed with, although one thing I wish it did was have the ability to quickly change DNS settings.
What I am aiming to do, is have 2 DNS settings selectable, 1-Auto Acquire from ISP, 1- Manually Pre-determined DNS. Then via a command line command, script, or batch file, either via my hard wired pc or my android device, execute it. The 'script' would theoretically change the DNS setting, and reboot the router. Then be reversable, or have another script to do the same.
Is this something that is feasable?
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Not aware of a way to do it with stock firmware (unless telnet is enabled). Just do it on the WAN page config Page 23.

I know that I can do it from the router login, I was hoping for something a little faster.
I can see myself wanting to switch DNS on a regular basis.
I'm not overly familar with telnet.

Hi @Eddie_Brock,
As it stands, what you are looking to do is not part of the feature set of any NETGEAR router. Manually changing the DNS configuration can be done through the UI only.
