R6200 wifi on linux problems accessing LAN resources

Details here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2302979

Basic summary: When I connect to my brand new R6200 from ubuntu 14.04 I can access the internet but no local network resources (anything on a 192.168.1.* IP address).

This means I cannot connect to the router's configuration web server at 192.168.1.1 from a browser, or ping any local IPs when connected to the 2GHz band wifi SID. When I connect via an ethernet cable I can do so.

When connected to wifi route -n reports that the gateway is "www.routerlogin.com" and not 192.168.1.1 and I suspect that this is the problem. I tried to connec to 192.168.1.1 from an iPad connected to the same SID and it worked just fine, and it works in ethernet, so I suspect this a bug in the firmware dealing specifically with wifi and not the ethernet ports.

Any help appreciated, TIA!

That's odd.
Did you try factory reset?

Do you have the latest firmware installed on your router?
