R6220 Router Not Detecting Internet But Modem & Cable Check Out
Hello. Looking for some help with one I've not seen before. Have searched archives, but found nothing on this problem.
Modem: CMV500V - Router: R6220
Was using laptop this morning and lost internet, but not wifi. Router internet indicator was out, everything else OK. Rebooted router and modem, no change. Removed WAN cable from router and plugged directly into computer and connected immediately, so signal, modem and cable good. Connected to R6220 via IP address and status indicated no internet, but all else good. Grabbed an old NG WGR614 I had laying around and hooked it up, only to find exactly the same problem and symptoms. Did a hard reset on the R6220 but no change.
No idea what to do at this point given two routers show identical symptoms. I realize they both could be bad, but the odds are pretty great. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Have you asked your ISP what's happening? Is your ISP fussy about
the MAC address of whatever's connected to it?
