R6250 v1 - no NTP time and unable update GUI

Hi

 

I have two problems with my  R6250 v1 firmware  V1.0.4.16_10.1.18 :

 

1) It unable to sync time with  netgear ntp server so for example build-in  vpn not working - i try reset to factory settings,set dns server manually - no result,still date = 01 january 2003

 

2) It unable to update polish GUI language pack from version 1.0.4.16_2.1.42.1  to 1.0.4.16_2.1.42.2  - everytime it detects new verison,download,install it  but after refersh the version is still 1.0.4.16_2.1.42.1  and update is available....

 

Please fix it ASAP

Hi @bart84,

 

1. Please try re-flashing the firmware.

2. Does the issue persist with another firmware version?

3. Please try port forwarding port 123 using the router's IP.

1. Please try re-flashing the firmware -  doesn't help

2. Does the issue persist with another firmware version?  - flashing previous version doesn't help

3. Please try port forwarding port 123 using the router's IP. - forwarding to router IP is not allowed, port trigering of port 123 doesn't help

Having the same issue,     Will not update GUI version.    tried several times rebooting inbetween.

 New firmware update  on 3/30/18.     Installed fine on R7000.     R6250  no longer has   NTP error     but now   shows this after several attempts:

There is a new GUI text file available:

Current Version              1.0.4.20_2.1.42.1

New GUI Language Version        1.0.4.20_2.1.42.2
