This version seems to be working quite well for me ... They did more than fix a security vulnerability, IMHO.

I successfully updated my router this morning to this new firmware but I had to download it from the Netgear website as the "Check" for new firmware button in the router GUI did not function. So I'm guessing that many Netgear users are left in the cold if they don't check the website. Not a good situation.

Interesting. I just noticed a new firmware version from 7/29/2015. I wonder if Netgear didn't release these recent firmwares for internal updater because they are not ready? Did anyone try v1.0.2.78_1.0.58 yet?
