R6400 - IP address reservations are deleted on restart
I have had this router for a few years now and never had any issues with it losing settings during power outages. Last night we had a short power outage and I discovered this morning that all of my address reservation settings had been deleted. I took the time to re-enter them and then experienced another trip in the power shortly thereafter. I checked the settings and the reservations had been dropped yet again. None of the other settings appear to have been lost.
The only thing that changed between all of the other power outages and these last two is that I updated the firmware. When I checked the settings this morning, I saw that there was another firmware update, so I applied it. I'm now on version V126.96.36.199_1.0.28. I believe I was on V188.8.131.52x before that.
I'm already looking at purchasing a UPS to put the router and modem on so that they don't immediately lose power if the main power goes out. I'm also backing up the settings. However, I'd still like to know what's causing the settings to be deleted when the unit loses power. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Obviously, these settings should not be lost spontaneously, but have
you tried saving your settings (while they're valid), and restoring them
after they're lost?

That's half an answer.

Install older firmware as a test?

I'd guess bad hardware or bad firmware. If the settings are corrupt,
then a restart (at power-on) could trigger a check which could discover
corrupt data, which might then be cleared. You might want to reset the
settings to their defaults, and reconfigure the router manually.
